Gloria Carano DiNatale

Gloria Carano DiNatale, 81, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home in Savannah.

Mrs. DiNatale was born on July 24, 1927 in Savannah, the daughter of the late Alfonso and Carmela Carano. She was a graduate of Commercial High School. Later in life Gloria participated with local grocery stores doing demonstration work. She was a devout Catholic and member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Mrs. DiNatale was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph Frank DiNatale, Sr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph F. DiNatale, Jr. and Judy DiNatale of Savannah; grandchildren, Lean DiNatale, Victoria DiNatale and Joseph F. DiNatale, III, all of Savannah; sister, Yolanda Kessler and brother, Tony Carano.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with The Reverend Jeremiah McCarthy, Celebrant.

Burial: Catholic Cemetery.

Remembrances: Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1003 East Victory Drive, Savannah, GA 31405 or to the American Cancer Society, 6600 Abercorn St, #206, Savannah, GA 31405.
